So I'm in the front row for the new James Bond, no one for forty yards, full of bad pizza and filling up on a rucksack of diet Pepsi, for twenty minutes I thought the experts might be right, but no, Smart Motorways will always win through in the end it's loud and rubbish and how the hell did my ear-assaulted caffeine-deluged body manage to fall asleep during most of it, it flew by, I came out before I went in, this is the next phase after alcoholism, it's better and worse and always disappointing that it's never like a me-and-my-craaazy-life Caitlin Moran column, cos straining against the inertia of misery all around is futile - in Romsey's Oxfam Books I accidentally reversed into a fellow browser and apologised and he was like he was terrified and blushed and kept looking at his phone - and why do we bother with the NHS ? - all the ones worth preserving are already dead and anyway they'd be dead now even if they were still alive
