about

.
echoechoecho - yes but it's prettypretty - okay so it's like a rough sea voyage - most passengers will quickly want to lie down in the quiet and pray for the ship to sink - but one or two with strong stomachs will rather enjoy the trip - it's nice to be one of the very few down for breakfast and lunch and to have the whole ship to ourselves. But yes - this sort of thing has gone on long enough - this OD is a final binge before the ship lurches into a new direction - hnw might be tempting after hearing all of this album - something I've not done yet - - - "yet" ? - who am I kidding?

However - that's not to disparage those of us who love this - and more of me loves this album than loathes it - I think we're the lucky ones. It's another one of those albums that you grab and never get to know and forget and ten years later you come home from work and your son is playing something loudly in the flat and you adore it instantly and you ask what it is and he tells you "oh it's by someone you've never heard of - Katharine Eastman - she was on the internet ages ago, just briefly, made loads of albums that all sounded the same and no one liked them and then she died a tragic lonely death ..." - and you'll want to correct him on one or two facts, but won't bother, cos all that matters is what the living choose to believe.
