waves of distorted key-ish distortions - starting from something that was way too complicated (ie it contained about 50 slightly different things), this got sorted-out and reduced to just 5 near-identical things which go on and on and on and is therefore ten times better - whether that's good enough for the world isn't for me to guess, but it's good enough for me, I like this one lots

..... it takes about 20 minutes for this one to fall into place - not that I expect anyone to listen to it for that long - or do I ? - do I wish it even ? - it's a tough one because surely it wouldn't be here on Bandcamp if I really didn't care - yesterday I had lunch with an ex-girlfriend, a great amateur psychologist (as they all have been so far) and she said I'm "conflated" and that I'd love to be loved but also fear it - she'd already diagnosed me as being annoyingly unable to love or take compliments, cos I never got any as a child blah blah blah - I just eat my byronic carbo-burgers and shut up - it's really nothing complicated, it's just that I can't bear TV and there's nothing else to do - who watches TV in order to be popular ? - who puts stuff on Bandcamp in order to be popular ? - they're both just ways of filling the time in the worst ways possible apart from all the others - as we part she gives me "The Courage To Be Disliked" by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga and it's either one of the best or one of the worst things she's ever done for/to me, like all the other things.
