Yes I've had a bit of a pause in making music. Though for someone like me, even 12 hours without releasing an album might make people think I must've died or something. No I am not dead. Though with hindsight I suppose I should have come back with a bit more of a bang. And though this album isn't exactly a whimper (IMHO) (in fact, I like it a lot) I do wish it was a bit more in-your-face - and I do wish I'd stop saying "though" all the time.
..........Never mind. About the latter, much can be done. About the former, the only way forward might be to finally pick up the bagpipes that I bought in a charity shop. I am told that there is something obscene about the thought of a woman playing the bagpipes. I've lived a sheltered life, though I know what people mean. But my main objection isn't the sight of me blowing and sucking that thing, it's that there might be a spider or something inside the dusty old instrument. But yes - henceforth I must gird my loins and blow the cobwebs away.
..........I've cropped this field so many times that the soil is now barren and now it's time to spray some shit everywhere to replenish and nourish the soil.
